On Sept. 16, 2023, more than 300 members of the community gathered for the Foundation Annual Gala in Willmar, aptly themed a Silver Soirée, to commemorate the 25th year! Last year's Gala was in support of two beneficiaries: CentraCare Hospice and the new Growing Our Own Doctors Scholarship Fund. Because of generous sponsors, donors, attendees, and volunteers, we were able to raise over $330,000!
The Foundation Annual Gala has a rich history of supporting the work of CentraCare – Rice Memorial Hospital. Over the past 26 years, more than $4.1 million has been raised, benefiting the greatest patient needs for Hospice, Cancer Care, Cardiology, Dental Care, Rehabilitation Services and Behavioral Health Services. We are filled with gratitude that this event has grown and, today, serves as the premiere fundraising event for CentraCare hospitals and clinics in west-central and southwest Minnesota.
