Holly Ball supports Hospice and Cancer Funds

2019 philanthropy-funded Cancer program facts:

  • 257 patients were seen for wig-fittings (wigs, scarves, hats are 100 percent philanthropically supported)
  • 290 women were seen for post-surgical garments to have after undergoing a lumpectomy or mastectomy since January 2019
  • 166 patients received acupuncture this past year
  • Chair yoga class and yoga for cancer classes are offered at the Healing Center. Class sizes range from 4 to 10 to allow for more personalized instruction, focusing on individual physical thresholds as patients go through and finish treatment
  • Palliative Care now is offered at the Healing Center increasing awareness of services at the Healing Center available to patients
  • Art Therapy has grown from one day a week to three days a week in the first year. Individual sessions and group sessions for patients and caregivers are now available

Philanthropy-funded hospice programs includes:

  • Massage therapy
  • Music therapy
  • Animal therapy
  • Educational resources on death and dying and grief and bereavement
  • No One Dies Alone volunteers
  • We Honor Veterans to improve the care provided to veterans
