Ambulance Services
Our ambulance service is staffed by fully trained EMTs who have undergone specialized training for a variety of procedures including IV administration, advanced airway management and cardiac defibrillation.
First CALS Hospital
CentraCare - Long Prairie Hospital was designated a Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) hospital by a coalition of Minnesota health care organizations and individuals. Minnesota's CALS program provides advanced life-support education to rural health care providers.
The CALS hospital designation represents a commitment to quality rural emergency medical care. CentraCare - Long Prairie Hospital met the criteria at the highest possible level with 100 percent of nurses and providers trained in CALS.
