How are chemical peels done?
We will apply a chemical solution to your hands, neck or face, which will cause the skin to exfoliate and peel off.
What can I expect from a chemical peel?
During the procedure, you may experience a mild or moderate tingling, itching or burning sensation. These reactions are normal and temporary.
Some peels will cause flaking, peeling or redness after the procedure, but it depends on acid strength and type. The day after a procedure your skin may feel tight. All peels will create sensitivity to heat and sun for several days so be sure to follow your post-procedure instructions.
