As part of our commitment to serving the health needs of people who are uninsured or underinsured, CentraCare offers discounts to those whose incomes are less than 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
All income-based program applicants will also be screened for the Hospital Department Discount Program.

Applying for Financial Assistance
To apply for financial assistance, patients must submit a complete application (including supporting documents):
- via MyChart,
- via email (to financialassistance@centracare.com),
- in person (at any CentraCare entity), or
- by mail (to CentraCare, Attn: Patient Financial Services, 1406 6th Ave N, St. Cloud, MN 56303).

Sliding Fee Discount Program for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC)
The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) is a federal program that helps bring medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health professionals to communities with limited access to health care, including rural areas.

Uninsured Discount
Uninsured patients who receive care at CentraCare Hospitals and who do not qualify for Financial Assistance will be given a discount equal to the average discount given to CentraCare’s largest non-governmental payer.
