What kind of clinical experiences are offered?

The APP Residency program offers the opportunity to rotate through multiple areas of CentraCare. The emphasis is on best practices in comprehensive primary care. The APP Residency program will equip new APPs with a comprehensive skills set required to meet the changing needs of patients in Central Minnesota. Half the year will be spent in family medicine, with specialty rotations through emergency medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, pain medicine, addiction medicine, behavioral health and orthopedics. Rotations change year-to-year and are aimed to expand the knowledge and skill of primary care providers.

How long is the residency?

The APP Residency program is a one-year program.

Is this a paid position?

The APP Residency program is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits.
