Dear Friends and Neighbors,

CentraCare care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to help us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

How can you help?

  • Please get your COVID vaccines and booster shots. They are proven safe and effective in reducing COVID illness, keeping people out of the hospital, and preventing death.
  • If your situation is not an emergency, please use other care options, including:

Alyssa Boesche, PharmD, PGY1 Pharmacy Resident (2021-2022)

Practice Interests: Oncology, infectious disease, ambulatory care

Residency Capstone Project: Urine Sodium for the Assessment of Natriuresis and Titration of Diuretics in Heart Failure

Dr. Boesche is originally from Glencoe, Minn. and graduated from South Dakota State University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions in May 2021. Alyssa currently serves as a member of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee at CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital. Outside of work Alyssa enjoys hiking and being outdoors, traveling and seeing new places, attending concerts and sporting events (especially hockey games) and spending time with family and friends.

Rachel Propst, PharmD, PGY1 Pharmacy Resident (2021-2022)

Practice Interests: Internal medicine, management, oncology

Residency Capstone Project: Pharmacist assisted Discharge Medication Reconciliation – A Pilot Study

Dr. Propst is originally from Pierre, South Dakota and graduated from South Dakota State University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions in May 2021. Rachel currently serves as a member of the P&T committee at CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital. Outside of work Rachel enjoys running/working out, spending time by the river, playing piano and staying in touch with friends and family.
