    What I Do
As a family medicine doctor, I care for the whole patient including their body and mind. I have been successful because I work hard to get to know my patients, hear their story, and strive to help them get better. My clinical interests include general family medicine, disease prevention, internal medicine, geriatrics, and stress prevention.

    Why I Love My Work
I became a doctor because I have a genuine desire to help people, and I enjoy science. Medicine puts both together. What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to work as a team to help patients heal and get better. Joining CentraCare felt like a natural fit. I have been working in the St. Cloud area for nearly 30 years and partnering with other health care specialists to care for patients. We all have the same goal: to care for people in our community.

    Getting to Know Me
I live in Central Minnesota and appreciate it for the healthy environment and intersection of suburbs and rural community. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, riding bicycle, astronomy, and history.

I grew up in Connecticut. My father ran a painting business from the house for 50 years. He taught me that the job is not done until it is done. My mother volunteered for years in a city ER. She taught me to take care of everyone, especially those who are less fortunate than I am. My Jesuit education taught me to keep learning, strive to be my best, and serve others.
