    Biography

    What I Do
I place an emphasis on patient-centered care and patient education. I believe it is important for my patients to know why they need to make certain lifestyle changes or start medications. It is essential we make educated decisions together which will pave the way for a great, long-term partnership.

My clinical interests include cardiology prevention, coronary artery disease, heart arrythmias, valve and aneurysm monitoring.

    Why I Love My Work
I love my job because every day is different. Some days I work in the hospital or with outpatient procedures. Other days I meet with patients in the clinic. This variety provides me with different insights into my role.

    Getting to Know Me
I was born and raised in Minnesota. From a young age I enjoyed watching medical related shows, specifically Rescue 911. I find it extremely rewarding to help someone during a health crisis or through prevention. Outside of work, I enjoy exercise of all types such as running, biking, hiking, etc. Activity keeps me and my family happy and healthy. Family movie night on Saturday is a must, along with Sunday football with the Vikings!
