Dr. Ekta Kapoor is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is an endocrinologist and menopause specialist and is the Assistant Director for the Mayo Clinic Center for Women's Health. She also is a consultant for Divisions of General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition.
Dr. Kapoor is recognized as a national and international leader in menopause and is on the Board of Trustees of The Menopause Society. She has published extensively in the field of menopause, with nearly 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts. She serves on the Editorial Boards of the two leading journals in menopausal medicine-Menopause and Maturitas. She is also the Lead Editor for Practice Pearls, a CME offering from The Menopause Society.
