Dr. Jennifer Potter-Vig leads system-wide research strategy and builds the infrastructure needed to expand research across CentraCare. Her work strengthens partnerships that advance CentraCare’s tripartite mission and improve health outcomes for rural communities.
Her research background spans global health systems, social drivers of health and access, and stroke, with a consistent focus on translating innovation into meaningful, accessible impact for patients and families. Dr. Potter-Vig also serves as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Illinois Springfield, where she connects research with real world implementation through education and workforce development.
Her scholarly work includes peer reviewed publications on improving access to stroke care, including studies on mechanical thrombectomy access and global barriers to endovascular treatment.
