Dr. Joy Plamann started her career with CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital in 1995 as a staff nurse on the Medical and Oncology Units. She has served in various nursing leadership roles in her tenure at CentraCare including Vice President Acute Care/St. Cloud Hospital Chief Nursing Officer, Section Director, Hospital Medicine, Department Director, Educator and Charge Nurse.
Dr. Plamann received a BSN from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, a HealthCare MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Health System and Executive Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh. She has participated in nursing research studies, published and is currently active on several boards and volunteers in her local community.
