Katherina Pattit, PhD
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at St. Cloud State University

As the Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Katherina Pattit is responsible for advancing the scholarly life of the university. She develops and administers academic policies, helps establish academic priorities, oversees the curriculum, encourages faculty and student research, supervises academic support and enrollment services, and assures compliance with policies.

Katherina Pattit joined St. Cloud State University in 2022 as Dean of the Herberger Business School. Previously, Dr. Pattit was a professor and department chair in Ethics and Business Law at the University of St. Thomas. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Ethics and Law from the Wharton School of Business.

Dr. Pattit’s research examines topics related to investor decision making, particularly in the context of socially responsible investing, as well as the influence of shareholders on corporate social responsibility. Her research is published in leading publications such as the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Behavioral Finance, Business and Society, Business and Society Review, Business and Professional Ethics Journal and Journal of Comparative International Management.
