Tiffany Tangen is an RN Supervisor on the Birth Center at CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital. She started in 2001 and in the past 25 years has served as a bedside RN and Charge Nurse serving patients in Mother Baby, Labor and Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, OB Triage and OR/PACU. She has been in the Supervisor role for the last 12 years focusing on networking with multiple disciplines developing best practices that focus on Maternal Mental Health, Postpartum Hemorrhage, OB Hypertension, Substance Use Disorders in Pregnancy, Human Trafficking and helping standardize the care of OB patients in the Emergency Department.
She has been involved in projects at the state level to ensure that safe patient care is being delivered with efforts to enhance the patient experience and improved outcomes. She is a member of the Networking and Education committee though the MN Association of Woman’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing (AWHONN) section and is passionate about all things woman’s health.
