Multidisciplinary Cancer Clinic

The multidisciplinary cancer clinic (MCC) is designed to minimize the time between cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Program features include:

  • A process that leads to improved safety, better patient experience, higher quality outcomes and lower cost of care
  • In a single visit, patients meet with a team of experts in a comforting environment
  • Patient and care team together select a personalized, unified treatment plan

Scheduling / Referral

RN Care Coordinator will review MCC with referring provider and patient/family. The role of the care coordinator is to assist patients and their families through their cancer journey by helping with appointments, procedures and treatment options. If patients prefer, they are always welcome to use the traditional approach of scheduling separate appointments with each provider.

For new patient consults, contact Coborn Cancer Center at 320-229-5199, ext. 70698.

“Everything was all mapped out for me. All I had to do was show up on this one day and see all my physicians and care team. I’ve never had anything happen that fast in my life. Everyone was on the same page. I didn’t have to explain myself fifty times, collect phone numbers or make multiple appointments. Everyone was so nice, so caring, so kind. It was like I was the only person they were taking care of. I call them the A team.” - Lung Cancer Survivor
