Tests & Diagnosis
Find the advanced services you need to help your doctor quickly and accurately diagnose any heart or vascular condition.
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
An ABPM test monitors your blood pressure for 24 hours, even while you sleep. It helps your doctor determine if you need treatment.
Cardiac Event & Holter Monitoring
Track your heartbeat with a wearable monitor to help your doctor diagnose arrhythmia. You can wear a Holter monitor for up to two days or an event monitor for up to a month.
Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
A cardiac MRI uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create pictures of your heart and arteries. Your doctor reviews these pictures to detect heart disease.
Coronary Calcium Scan
A coronary calcium scan is also known as a heart scan or cardiac scoring. This test looks for plaque (fat) in the arteries to determine the risk for heart disease in people without any symptoms.
Coronary Computer Tomography Angiography
Also called coronary CT angiography or CCTA, this test looks for plaque (fat) in the arteries of people experiencing symptoms of cardiac problems. It can identify plaque buildup and blockages in the arteries, show blood to and from the heart and evaluate heart structure and function.
Echocardiogram (Echo)
An echocardiogram uses sound waves to show your heart’s movement and blood flow. Your doctor can use the images to look for many types of heart conditions.
Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG)
An ECG or EKG is a painless test that measures your heart’s electrical activity over a few minutes. It shows if your heart has any damage or is under stress.
Exercise Treadmill Test
Walk on a treadmill while we monitor your blood pressure and track your heart rhythm. This test shows how well your heart responds to stress.
Gated Blood Pool Study (MUGA Scan)
This test checks how well your heart pumps blood. It looks closely at the heart’s left side, which does most of the work. The results help us plan your treatment.
Myocardial Perfusion Stress Tests
This test is also known as a nuclear stress test. It uses a radioactive tracer and special camera to see if your arteries supply enough blood to your heart.
Stress Echocardiogram Test
This test combines exercise and an ultrasound to see if your heart muscle gets enough blood. It also shows possible problems in your arteries.
Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
A TEE uses a small ultrasound device placed in your throat to get a close look at your heart’s size, shape, and function. It shows the heart in more detail than a chest echo.
Vascular Imaging
To evaluate the blood flow in your arteries and veins, your doctor may order a vascular imaging test, such as:
