Conditions We Treat

Ask us for help if you experience pain due to:

Orthopedic Treatments

Whenever possible, treatment starts with nonsurgical approaches that require less downtime than surgery. These include:

  • Physical therapy – Builds strength and flexibility with exercise, stretches and hands-on techniques
  • Cortisone (steroid) injection – Reduces inflammation and pain with a higher dose of medication than you could take by mouth
  • Knee gel injections – Uses hyaluronic acid, a natural lubricant, to help a stiff joint move more easily
  • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection – Delivers a high dose of platelets from your body to the site of an injury to speed up the healing process

Arthroscopy: Less Invasive Surgery

If surgery is your best treatment option, your surgeon will make the smallest possible incisions, so you recover sooner. This approach may use an arthroscope—a thin tube with a light and camera that shows the inside of your joint. A type of minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy is safer and causes less scarring than traditional surgery that creates a long incision. You’ll likely go home the same day as your procedure.
