Step 2: Apply
- To apply for a volunteer position, submit an online application
- Volunteers less than 18 years old must also submit a completed Parental Consent Form.
Step 3: Interview & Offers
We will review your application. If your qualifications, background and availability indicate a match to the position/s we have available, you will be contacted for an interview. The interview offers us a chance to discuss your application, your schedule and your specific volunteer interests, as well as opportunities currently available that might be suitable for you.
Offers of volunteering: All offers of volunteering are contingent upon successfully passing the following screening requirements:
- a background study
- medical clearance — This free health screening consists of a review of the physical demands for the position and any concerns. This may include immunization review and titer testing (as appropriate), required vaccination(s) as applicable and tuberculosis screening.
Step 4: Orientation and Training
This step includes education modules, welcome and introduction to the Volunteer Program, obtaining an ID badge and volunteer uniform, and position-specific training.
