What to Expect When You Apply to Volunteer at CentraCare in St. Cloud

Step 2: Apply

Application - To apply for a volunteer position, submit an online application.
Volunteers less than 18 years old must also submit a completed Parental Consent Form(PDF).

Step 3: Interview

We will review your application. If your qualifications, background and availability indicate a match to the position/s we have available, you will be contacted for an interview. The interview offers us a chance to discuss your application, your schedule and your specific volunteer interests, as well as opportunities currently available that might be suitable for you.

Offers of volunteering - All offers of volunteering are contingent upon successfully passing screening requirements.

• Background study - If you have been made an offer to volunteer click here to start the background check process
• Medical Clearance -Only volunteers inpatient service roles such as STEP Force must complete a free health screening.

Step 4: Orientation and Training

General orientation includes a tour, computerized education modules, ID badge and for most volunteer positions a uniform. Education modules may be completed online with instructions from the Volunteer Program staff.

After general orientation is complete, we will arrange position specific training for you to help you be successful in your new volunteer position.
