COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update Learn More

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

CentraCare care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to help us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

How can you help?

  • Please get your COVID vaccines and booster shots. They are proven safe and effective in reducing COVID illness, keeping people out of the hospital, and preventing death.
  • If your situation is not an emergency, please use other care options, including:
  • If this is a medical emergency, call 9-1-1, or visit the ER.

Together, we can do this. Thank you for your support.

Published in Media Releases Author: CentraCare

St. Cloud, Minn. – Enjoy refreshments and take a tour from 2:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 27 through the newly completed Gorecki Family Addition to the St. Cloud Hospital Gorecki Guest House. Attendees can enter for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Gift Gallery.

The addition increased the number of guest rooms from 12 to 28 to better accommodate patients and family members who are receiving medical care in the St. Cloud community. The Guest House, conveniently located across from St. Cloud Hospital, offers a comfortable, homelike atmosphere that allows families the opportunity to stay close to their loved ones. The first guest will be welcomed to the new space Nov. 1.

With the expansion, the Gorecki Guest House will:

  • Serve more families in need, and have the ability to accommodate families
    in urgent situations.
  • Extend registration hours to accommodate families who arrive later in the evening.

The mission of the guest house is to provide affordable, temporary housing in a peaceful, homelike setting. Since opening June 15, 2009, more than 12,000 guests have stayed at the Guest House. For additional information or room availability, call 320-251-2700, ext. 51774.
