Bounce Back Project Thanks the Community for its Support

Published in Media Releases Author: CentraCare

The Bounce Back Project hosted a night of laughter with Wanna Come Out and Play, featuring the comedy of The Peabody Players, on Friday, January 27, 2017 at River City Extreme in Monticello.

The goal of the event was to encourage happiness through laughter. More than 150 guests enjoyed a comedy show, games and a Get Happy tool kit to support happiness at home.

“The Bounce Back Project, which promotes health through happiness, hosted an event to highlight the importance of social connections and the benefit of laughter in our lives,” said Melissa Pribyl, RN, Community Health and Wellness Generalist at CentraCare Health – Monticello.  “I am proud that we were able to accomplish both of those goals. Not only were guests improving relationships with friends and family they came with, they were also able to meet new friends and build new connections.  The number of attendees and the feedback that we received regarding the event proved to us that the Bounce Back Project is making a difference in the health and happiness of our communities. We would like to thank all of our guests for attending and also the Wright County Area United Way who helped sponsor this wellness event for our community.”
