CentraCare care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to help us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

How can you help?

  • Please get your COVID vaccines and booster shots. They are proven safe and effective in reducing COVID illness, keeping people out of the hospital, and preventing death.

CentraCare and University of Minnesota Physicians Partner to Expand Orthopedic Services in Central Minnesota

CentraCare and University of Minnesota Physicians have formed a new partnership to meet the growing demand for orthopedic services in St. Cloud and its surrounding communities. The organizations have a shared vision to create an orthopedic program of unsurpassed clinical excellence that is easily accessible for those who live in the rural communities in the central part of the state.

“Our partnership with University of Minnesota Physicians allows CentraCare to deepen our commitment to providing the best healthcare to people in this region,” said Ken Holmen, MD, president and CEO of CentraCare. “We are excited to bring one of the country’s leading orthopedic groups to St. Cloud and to improve access to care for people in this region. We share a common future vision for orthopedics and care to our community.”

Full development of the orthopedic program, including a comprehensive orthopedic center, will occur over the next several years.
