CentraCare Now Scheduling Janssen/J&J and Moderna Boosters

CentraCare is prepared to administer Janssen/J&J and Moderna COVID-19 single-dose booster shots. The Pfizer-BioNTech booster also is available for patients to schedule.

Individuals eligible for booster shots

Janssen/J&J – For those who received this single-shot vaccination at least two months ago and are:

• 18 years of age and older regardless of underlying health conditions

Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech – For those who received the two-shot vaccination series at least six months ago and are:

• 65 years of age and older
• 18-64 years of age at high risk of severe COVID-19
• 18-64 years of age with frequent exposure to COVID-19 due to working or living conditions

The FDA also authorized the use of a booster that is different than the original vaccination you received. This is only available for booster doses.

Patients who are eligible for Janssen/J&J and Moderna booster shots can schedule an appointment at select locations through:

Walk-in appointments also are available from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays at CentraCare South Point, 3001 Clearwater Road, St Cloud.

CentraCare’s main goals are to vaccinate those who have not yet received the COVID-19 vaccine and to administer boosters to the most vulnerable.
