Published in Inside CentraCare, For the Health of It Author: Jen Evans, CentraCare Digital Product Communications Manager

We are looking for 15 patients to join the council.

Our patient’s digital experience is important to us. That is why we are launching the Patient Technology Advisory Council (PTAC) this spring. We are looking for 15 patients to join our council.

About PTAC

The Patient Technology Advisory Council will be comprised of 15 members of our patient population who will provide consultative feedback regarding our digital technologies. PTAC members are the voice of our patients and family who share our commitment to making it easy for patients to connect with us and a pleasure to be cared for by us.

Council members will attend four meetings per year and offer feedback that will be used to enhance our patients’ digital technology journey. This will be accomplished by gathering experiences, observations, and recommendations from the council members. Complimentary dinner will be offered at each meeting.

Amy Porwoll, CIO and Senior Vice President, is excited to launch the council this summer. “CentraCare offers robust care options and all along the way, technology is by the patient’s side, making it easier to connect to the care they need. It is important that our patients have a voice in shaping their digital journey.”
