    What I Do
Health care is about a partnership between patients and their providers. When patients understand all treatment options available to them to the greatest extent possible, they are empowered to choose the best course of action for the lifestyle they desire. If I don’t know an answer to a patient’s question or problem, we’ll work together to find it. For long term care, a few friendly reminders along the road can prevent conditions from getting worse and new conditions from developing. I have seen firsthand how debilitating conditions can severely disrupt a person’s lifestyle and I am committed to finding ways to keep the control of my patients’ lifestyles in their hands to the greatest extent possible.

I want to help patients manage their chronic conditions and prevent them from impeding their freedoms. Specific areas that I enjoy working with patients in are cardiovascular disease, diabetes management, mental health care and urology, but I am open to helping patients with any and all health issues they are struggling with.

    Why I Love My Work
What I enjoy the most about my job is seeing the impact on patients’ lives when their needs are met, and they no longer feel as burdened by the conditions they have. When they realize that their freedoms don’t have to be as constricted or we find hope together in situations that seem hard to manage, it’s often a moment where the relief is palpable, and I enjoy being a part of the process to get them there.

    Getting to Know Me
I learned about medicine early in life from my mother who was a nurse and after serving in the military as a medic. I knew that I wanted to have a greater impact on patients’ lives. I chose to go into family medicine to get to know my patients on a deeper level and help them overcome challenges they face.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, bicycling, swimming, archery, kayaking, fishing, completing puzzles and sketching.
