    What I Do
As a registered dietitian, I like to think I am in the role of a cheerleader. It’s my job to motivate and support. I want patients to feel comfortable when on a medical visit and to trust in the care they will receive. I help patients set realistic, achievable and sustainable goals, and I want them to succeed as much as they want to succeed. I have a strong passion for overall nutrition and how different foods affect our bodies differently.

    Why I Love My Work
The main reason I went into medicine is because I love caring for people and making an impact on their lives. I enjoy dietetics because everyone has to eat and drink. Nutrition plays a role in prevention and daily life. It’s a field that offers something new and exciting every day because of the wide variety of foods and latest research. I enjoy watching people reach goals that they thought they couldn’t achieve. I also love the one-on-one relationships you build with patients over time.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My happy place is the cabin during summer. I have a dog that loves the cabin, walks and car rides. I am also a very crafty person. I love any DIY projects that I can get my hands on!
