    Biography

    What I Do
Within my role as a nurse practitioner, I use a patient-centered approach, assessing not only physical symptoms but also emotional, social and environmental factors. I dedicate my full attention to each of my patients. Building trust with my patients is a priority for me, regardless of the duration or frequency of our interactions. I strive to make a lasting impact in their lives by promoting overall wellbeing.

My clinical interests include cardiovascular disease, heart failure management, arrhythmia management and preventative health.

    Why I Love My Work
I find joy in seeing improvement in my patients, and I enjoy the challenge and complexity of cardiac care. I also enjoy the comradery of the team as we work toward the common goal of providing the best care possible.

    Getting to Know Me
I have always been interested in health and fitness, which drew me toward my first degree in exercise science. This interest evolved into a love of the heart. A healthy cardiovascular system is key to general health and quality of life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time outdoors. I am also a Vikings fan, so I spend every football season stressing and praying for a win!
