    Biography

    What I Do
My philosophy of care is to meet the needs of the patient and the family. When it comes to behavioral health assessment and intervention for children, teens and families, one size does not fit all. I am here to listen carefully and collaborate with patients and families to best understand their needs and preferences. To do this, I provide a broad range of assessment and intervention practices. I focus on identifying strengths that can be drawn on, as well as areas of need that will guide effective interventions for identified conditions and concerns. The assessment and intervention approaches I utilize are developmentally guided, evidence based, collaborative in nature and are delivered with flexibility to meet individual needs. My special clinical interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, FASD, generalized anxiety, OCD, panic, agoraphobia, medical anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, attachment disruption, behavioral difficulties and coping with chronic pain and medical conditions.

    Why I Love My Work
What I most enjoy about my job is getting to know children, teens and their families. I enjoy collaborating with them to individualize the assessment and intervention approach that will best meet their unique needs.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 adult children. My interests include music, spending time outdoors, reading and traveling. I also enjoy playing the Celtic harp. I listen enthusiastically to a wide variety of music from medieval to metal, and I enjoy learning from young people about music I have never heard before!
