    Biography

    What I Do
I believe that counseling is a pathway for growth and healing. Overall, my philosophy as a therapist is to treat each person as a unique individual who is worthy of unconditional acceptance. It is my desire to come alongside, support, challenge, and encourage my clients to find healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

I am Master ART Practitioner for Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which helps reprogram the way distressing memories and images are stored in the brain so that they no longer trigger strong physical and emotional reactions. This therapy can be used well for most people with issues including grief, phobias, past trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I have many years of experience working with people who are living with symptoms associated with concussion or brain injury, and facilitate some therapy groups related to this. I enjoy working with men and women of all backgrounds and walks of life.

My clinical interests include trauma, brain injury, anxiety, self-esteem and mindfulness.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy perusing thrift stores, traveling to new (and old) places, and reading.
