  The Sports Medicine team works with athletes, coaches and parents to help prevent injuries and following an injury provides assessment and comprehensive care so athletes can return to their sport as quickly and safely as possible. Certified athletic trainers are trained to evaluate, treat, rehabilitate and prevent sports injuries. Working in high school, college, clinical or professional athlete settings, they play an important role in reducing the serious effects of injury and helping people return to an active lifestyle.
