    What I Do
As a physician assistant in vascular surgery, my goal is to provide compassionate, respectful and evidence-based care. I want my patients to feel listened to and cared for in a holistic manner. I place a high emphasis on patient education, as I think it is vital for patients to understand their diagnosis and the reasoning behind their treatments and medications. My special clinical interest is primarily vascular surgery.

I promise to listen to you and put your needs first. I will walk alongside you on your health journey to help you not only reach your health-related goals, but also improve your quality of life, so that you can get back to doing the things that are important to you. In short, I am committed to serving you and strongly believe in the collaborative nature of care between the provider and the patient.

    Why I Love My Work
Surgical subspecialties provide a unique opportunity to follow patients throughout many stages of their care, including seeing them pre-operatively, being involved in their surgery, and watching them heal and overcome their diagnosis. It is so rewarding to see their progress and know that you were a part of their entire journey.

I volunteered at CentraCare throughout high school and undergrad, and I appreciated the patient-centered style of care. I saw firsthand how the employees worked together to provide the best patient experience possible.

    Getting to Know Me
I grew up in St. Michael, Minnesota, and I absolutely adore this community. Central Minnesota is still home to many of my friends and family, and I feel fortunate to be able to serve and give back to this community as a physician assistant.

Outside of work, you will find me spending time with my husband, family and friends. I love pretty much anything that allows me to get outside, such as camping, biking, downhill skiing or watching sports. I am also a huge foodie, so I am always looking for new, local cuisine to try.
