    Biography

    What I Do
My philosophy of care is to provide centered- and strengths-focused care. CentraCare has a great vision for population health, which allows for compassionate, culturally sensitive and holistic care. I chose to go into medicine because I have a deep connection to the degree of suffering we can endure and innate resiliency that allows us to not just survive but thrive. I went into behavioral health in a pediatric primary care setting because it allows for the earliest interventions possible, thus the most successful outcomes possible. My clinical interests include child and adolescent mental health.

    Why I Love My Work
I most enjoy helping patients and families identify and enhance their already existing strengths and skills. I also love the increasing diversity of the Minnesota community.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, spending time outdoors and moving, reading, sewing and achieving 8 hours of sleep.
