    Biography

    What I Do
My philosophy of care is to provide client-centered and strengths-focused care in a collaborative, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed manner. As an Integrated Behavioral Health Psychotherapist in the Pediatrics Clinic and the Child Advocacy Center, I provide behavioral health consultation and timely psychotherapeutic interventions. My preferred treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training. I also have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and in July 2023 will be trained in Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI).

    Why I Love My Work
I most enjoy helping patients and families identify and enhance their already existing strengths and skills. I also love the increasing diversity of the Minnesota community.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, spending time outdoors and moving, reading, sewing and achieving 8 hours of sleep.
