    What I Do

My philosophy of care is to strive my best for each patient and make them feel included, seen, and welcomed. There is an ever-changing culture and diversity within this community, and I want my patients to know they have come to the right place to receive their care. My specialty includes anesthesia. As anesthesia providers, we only have one patient at a time. This way we get to devote our entire attention to one person and help them through what might be an exciting and/or distressing time in their life. I used to be a labor and delivery nurse, so obstetrical anesthesia is one of my clinical interests and passions.

    Why I Love My Work

My favorite part of this job is the variety of patients we see and the vast array of skills we perform as anesthesia providers. I have had patients that range from a few days old to nearly 100! Every patient and anesthetic are different and there are a thousand ways to safely go about it. We get the opportunity to tailor our anesthesia plan to each patient. There is no "one size fits all" in anesthesia and that is what makes me love my work.

    Getting to Know Me

Outside of work, I enjoy woodworking, crafting with my Cricut, snowboarding, snow-skiing, and water skiing. I am also an avid motorcyclist.
