    Biography

    What I Do
Through the work I do, I am a firm believer that patients come to therapy because they have life experiences that have influenced how they think, feel and experience life. My role as a therapist is to assist patients on their journey to self-discovery and wellness. It is important to me to normalize that everyone has a mental health that needs to be cared for in a way that is no different than caring for one’s physical health.

My special clinical interests include borderline personality disorder, trauma and stress disorders, drug/alcohol addiction, disordered eating, depression, anxiety, life transitions and LGBTQIA+ concerns. Most of my interventions are informed by systems theory, dialectic behavioral therapy, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and internal family systems.

    Why I Love My Work
I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues across CentraCare to ensure that we are treating the whole person. The most rewarding part of my work is having the honor to sit beside the people who are doing the brave work needed to heal.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy meaningful time with friends and family. I am an avid women’s basketball fan who also enjoys reading, watching true crime documentaries, traveling, going to classes at the gym and frequenting the dog park. Laughter is key to longevity and is an integral part of my personal and professional life.
