    What I Do
My philosophy of care is strongly empowering my patients by explaining the condition we are dealing with together and providing them with the treatment or surveillance options and accompanying them in their choice and journey. I like for my patients to leave better than they came to see me, whether through providing an answer to a doubt or clinical questions they had, improving their symptoms or removing a lesion. I strive to provide my patients with the highest quality of care and that is a major motivation to keep learning and exchanging knowledge within the medical community. I see patients in their most vulnerable moments, and I aim to restore their well-being to the best I can.

My special clinical interests include diagnosis and treatment of the bile duct and pancreas diseases, lumps and bumps in the digestive tract, addressing diseases of the digestive tube and using endoscopic procedures to achieve weight loss. I am trained in interventional endoscopy and use endoscopes and tools through the endoscope to tackle these conditions.

    Why I Love My Work
I love how humbling it is! Keeping in mind the wisdom of using clinical judgement, of not doing all what one can technically achieve, but to always put the patient’s best interest among all. Through my medical school years, I realized how I can put science in the service of humans and how rewarding it was and is to positively affect people’s lives.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I am a huge fan of nature, the outdoors and I am a good dog dad as well. I appreciate art and creativity in their different forms. I have been told that I am a good cook, but that is debatable.
