    Biography

    What I Do
Patient-centered care of non-surgical orthopedics and sports medicine. This includes fracture management, concussions, tendon and joint injection. Focus on improving pain and returning function. Special interest in concussions, sports injuries, sports psychology. An integrated physician and teacher, I strive to empower my patients to better understand their injuries which allows for accelerated recovery and further injury prevention.

    Why I Love My Work
It is a privilege to care for our patients. And I give my patients the kind of individualized, insightful and personal care I would give to my family. I’ve been fortunate to see patients not only in clinic but also on the sidelines, stadiums, and gymnasiums as team physician for Albany Area High School and St John’s University.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of medicine you’ll find me with my amazing family- they mean everything to me. No matter the season, we’re enjoying Minnesota lakes and finding ways to discover beauty in nature. I’m “a fixer” at heart…whether that’s building a treehouse, repairing a boat, or seeing an injury in clinic I’m naturally inquisitive and inclined to discover the source of the problem and find solutions.
