    Biography

    What I Do
My philosophy of care is to empower individuals and families to understand their medical diagnosis and risks. I am there to build my patients' confidence in making decisions regarding their health. My special clinical interests include prenatal and preconception genetic counseling.

    Why I Love My Work
I love genetic counseling because it is the perfect fusion of science and research with face-to-face personalized healthcare. I find it so meaningful to create connections with patients and their families.

    Getting to Know Me
I love being outdoors, going on walks, camping, gardening and fishing. I also love crafting, drinking coffee and watching baking shows. I’m a Minnesota native and I’ve also lived in Indiana and then Hawaii for several years; however, there is no place like Minnesota!
