    Biography
I was born and raised in the small farming community of Shelby, Montana. It was there I witnessed the important role that a family physician has in a rural setting. I began my interest in medicine during my time in Montana, which continued as I moved out to Minnesota to continue my education where I was a Biology major at Bethel University. Just as it was in high school, athletics continued to be an enjoyable aspect of my life and I was fortunate to have the privilege to participate in both football and track during my four years at Bethel. From the many years of athletics, I’ve learned the importance of both teamwork and relationships, and I try to incorporate that into my role in the world of medicine. During my time at Bethel, I also was fortunate to meet my wife, Andrea, and we have since grown our family with the addition of four wonderful children. We have enjoyed being a part of the Willmar/New London-Spicer area communities and continue to enjoy experiencing the numerous outdoor recreational activities that the region has to offer.
