    What I Do

Everybody brings their unique perspective to life. My hope is that I can learn those qualities about my patients while guiding them through health care decisions that affect them and their families in a way that is supportive, effective and worthwhile.

My clinical interests are centered around broad-spectrum family medicine including preventative care, acute care, obstetrics, newborn and pediatric care, inpatient care, mental health, Suboxone management, women's and men's health, office-based procedures and point-of-care ultrasound.

    Why I Love My Work

What I love most about my work is the people I get to care for and the people I get to work with each day. I have learned that personal connection is of uttermost importance to have fun, but also to accomplish things quickly.

    Getting to Know Me

I was motivated to go into medicine by a combination of a great high school teacher and being active in my Christian faith. The image of me holding a stethoscope to a little boy's back has stuck with me since college, an image that has been fulfilled many times since then in medical school and residency. Having worked for CentraCare during my residency, I have gotten to know many of the providers and support services available in this part of Minnesota. I hope to help provide good care and also serve as an advocate for my coworkers when needed.

I grew up in the area, attending New London-Spicer High School, where I met my future wife. I can't wait for my children to grow up in this area! While being closer to family, we enjoy the great outdoors and going on hikes at local and national parks. I also enjoy stories, movies, videogames and working with technology to keep me entertained.
