    Biography

    What I Do
I have a patient-centered approach to my acupuncture practice. The patient’s input is very valuable in finding the best treatment for a health challenge. I enjoy building relationships and observing how acupuncture can positively affect the patient’s health. My clinical interests include musculoskeletal pain, emotional balance, migraine and headaches.

    Why I Love My Work
I have always been interested in making a difference in people’s lives. Once I was introduced to Chinese medicine and understood its healing potential, my lifelong study of this rich and versatile approach began. Chinese medicine combines simplicity and complexity. It has an elegant way of reducing this complexity and connecting our bodies and minds to a whole.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I love reading historical novels and crime fiction from Scandinavian authors. I love outdoor activities, such as walking and hiking. I ran five marathons so far, four in Italy and one in Sweden. I still hope to run one in the Twin Cities or Duluth at some point.
