    What I Do
My philosophy of care is to help patients live according to their values and desired level of functioning. Integrated Behavioral Health is brief in nature, so education about the mind-body connection and behavioral interventions for patients to try is the focus of each appointment. Education and interventions aim to normalize the patient experience, promote tolerance of difficult emotions, identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, and promote behaviors that increase functioning, symptom improvement, and resiliency. While exploring strategies consistent with patient values, we also explore readiness for change. My goal is to meet patients where they are in their journey and tailor interventions to fit their immediate goals.

I went into integrated behavioral health as a specialty because I enjoy supporting patient success with their mental and physical health goals. Rarely do we accomplish goals and change without support or encouragement along the way. I highlight what patients are doing well and help patients focus on their strengths. I am friendly and casual. I want patients to feel comfortable with their providers. If I'm not the right fit, patients are encouraged to let me know so I can help connect them with a provider who may be a better match.

    Why I Love My Work
I enjoy providing patients with education, easy-to-use interventions and strategies, and support in primary care.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I'm a busy mom to four children. I recently fell in love with yoga and am a lifelong learner.
