Patient & Visitor Information

Visitors

Visiting hours for patients at Benson Hospital are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Prior arrangements may be requested with our staff for flexibility outside of these hours. We also ask that visitors respect the wishes of the patient. Here are a few important reminders. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask any of our staff members for help.

  • Please help protect patients from seasonal viruses. If you have the signs and symptoms of a cold or the flu, please refrain from visiting the hospital until you are symptom-free.
  • If you are well enough to visit, please wash your hands or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer before entering the patient’s room to help stop the spread of germs and infection.
  • Children may visit if they are accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their supervision.
  • No one with an active infection may visit patients.
  • Staff have the right to limit the number of visitors and duration of the visit in the best interest of the patient.
  • Family members and close friends play a vital role in a patient’s recovery and return to health. We welcome and encourage healthy visitors.
