Who Do You Mask For?

Wearing a face covering protects the people around you. It helps you keep germs to yourself — protecting the most vulnerable.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), many individuals don’t have symptoms of COVID-19, but can still be infected and transmit the virus. By wearing a face covering, you can help reduce exposures spread by coughing, sneezing and talking.

CentraCare encourages community members to wear a face covering while out in public in unpredictable situations. Practicing social distancing and good hand hygiene are also important. Face coverings can be inexpensive and made from materials inside your home like T-shirts and bandanas. Learn more about face coverings from the CDC
