    Biography

    What I Do
My philosophy of care is to treat all patients with kindness and respect in order to connect with them on a higher level. Being able to give your full attention and listen to patients helps to establish a solid background of who they are and what they are looking for with their care. I believe that when patient-provider communication is transparent, it gives patients a clear and concise message of the care that will be provided. My specialty includes vascular surgery.

    Why I Love My Work
Being in medicine allows me to make a difference in other people's lives. I like the challenge of trying to solve problems within the changing world of medicine -- there are always new technologies and techniques to learn. I like how this job allows me to be innovative.

    Getting to Know Me
I grew up in Iowa, but I have family in the St. Cloud area. My family means the world to me, and this is what led to me to move to Minnesota. My grandma had her coronary artery bypass graft surgery at St. Cloud Hospital. My grandma recommended I work at St. Cloud Hospital after she underwent the surgery. She spoke very highly about the care that was provided throughout her stay. I am also a very active person, and I am always on the go. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, working out and reading. I also love camping and spending my free time at the lake.
