Pricing & Cost of Care Estimates

We want you to be informed about out-of-pocket costs for care or services you will receive at CentraCare. Our Financial Clearance department can help by providing you with information and resources to plan for health care costs before, during and after your visit. Financial clearance refers to the work done by our prior authorization, estimate and financial counseling teams. Learn more about how we can help.

Estimates

Good Faith Estimate Disclosure

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit CMS.gov or call 320-251-2700, ext. 53129.

Estimates in MyChart

To help you learn what your costs may be, we now offer a tool in MyChart you can use to create estimates for the cost of care.

Patient Price Estimate Request Form

You also may use the Patient Price Estimate Request Form to learn how much a medical service or procedure will cost. Staff from Financial Clearance will review your information and respond to you within two business days.

Estimates for Scheduled Services

Once your procedure has been scheduled, a financial counselor may contact you to provide an estimate of the charges to help you understand what your responsibility will be and to discuss payment of the estimated balance due.

Our policy is to request patients pay their estimated patient responsibility prior to the procedure. If you are unable to pay in full the estimated patient balance prior to the procedure, we do offer an extended no-interest payment plan option.

If you have questions, please call our financial counselor at 320-255-5616, ext. 55616.

Financial Clearance will review your information and respond to you within the guidelines set by the No Surprises Act.
