Volunteers are a valuable part of our health care team that share a common objective of providing Care Above All for our patients, residents and their families. Volunteering is the perfect way to make a difference in people’s lives, put your talents to use, develop new skills and even explore careers. Volunteer opportunities are available at a variety of CentraCare Health locations throughout the region.
Volunteers play a strategically important role as health care transforms to best meet the needs of patients and communities
Each year, more than 1,900 volunteers contribute more than 149,000 hours of service to CentraCare Health. Volunteers give of their time and talents in countless ways. Our team of volunteers consists of men, women, adults, college students, and teens with a variety of backgrounds.
The most rewarding reason to volunteer cannot be measured. As a volunteer, you gain valuable experience, learn new skills, make friends and meet others who share the same values and interests.
Perhaps most rewarding of all is the patient’s appreciation. A warm smile or encouraging word can mean as much to a patient as the services you provide. CentraCare offers volunteer opportunities in a variety of areas. Plus, you’ll receive volunteer training in a professional, friendly environment, to make you feel comfortable and confident. We are committed to the success of our volunteers.
