    What I Do
My philosophy of care is patient centered. It is important that the care a patient receives is a collaboration between the patient and the medical team. A key aspect of patient care is to ensure that the patient truly understands what is happening and what their diagnosis is. I decided to become a physician assistant for the ability to work closely with patients in a variety of different areas of medicine. As a physician assistant, I can continue providing direct patient care and help patients better understand their diagnosis and treatment. My clinical interests include emergency medicine and rural medicine.

    Why I Love My Work
I enjoy being able to see the difference that I can make in my patients’ lives. I really enjoy working through their concerns together and letting them know that their concerns were heard.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I really enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy spending time at the lake in the summer with my husband and our dog.
