Strike Out Stroke at the Rox baseball game June 5

Published in Media Releases

St. Cloud Hospital Stroke Center is teaming up with the St. Cloud Rox June 5 with a 1:05 p.m. game time at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud. The event will help raise stroke awareness in the community. Have your blood pressure taken and take home a stroke screening form. LifeLink III helicopter also will make an appearance. The first 300 children aged 14 and younger will receive a free 28” wooden baseball bat, compliments of St. Cloud Hospital Stroke Center. Stroke survivors, members of the “Let’s Talk Again” Aphasia Group and graduate students from St. Cloud State University — some of who have speech difficulties — will kick off the game by singing the National Anthem.
