Applesauce - No Sugar Added

Ingredients

  • 8 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into ¼” slices
  • 8 oz Diet 7 Up or Diet Sprite (may increase to 12 oz as needed)
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Method

In medium saucepan, combine apples, cinnamon, and diet pop. Cook 45 minutes, stirring frequently, or until tender.

You can also make this in a crockpot:

  • Spray crock pot with non-stick spray.
  • Mix peeled, sliced apples with cinnamon.
  • Place in crock pot and pour pop over apples.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours, stirring occasionally.
