COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update Learn More

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

CentraCare care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to help us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

How can you help?

  • Please get your COVID vaccines and booster shots. They are proven safe and effective in reducing COVID illness, keeping people out of the hospital, and preventing death.
  • If your situation is not an emergency, please use other care options, including:
  • If this is a medical emergency, call 9-1-1, or visit the ER.

Together, we can do this. Thank you for your support.

Masking Still Required at All CentraCare and Carris Health Facilities; Walk-In Vaccine Clinics Available

Published in Media Releases Author: CentraCare

The end of the statewide mask mandate helps restore a sense of normalcy for all of us. However, COVID-19 is not yet eradicated and people who are not vaccinated are still at risk.

As a health care organization, we must continue to remain vigilant in the fight against a disease that continues to impact our communities. Masking still is required for all employees, patients and visitors within CentraCare and Carris Health facilities, at this time.

CentraCare is awaiting additional guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before implementing additional changes.

As a result of this week’s emergency use authorization for the Pfizer vaccine, COVID-19 vaccinations are now available for children ages 12 and older. Scheduling for anyone under the age of 18 needs to be coordinated through CentraCare Connect at 320-200-3200. Online scheduling for 18 and older can be done through CentraCare.com.

CentraCare also is offering walk-in vaccine clinics at CentraCare South Point, 3001 Clearwater Road, St. Cloud, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, and Wednesday, May 19. The Pfizer vaccine will be available on both dates for anyone 12 and older.
